Charlie Beavers
In Memory Of...
- 2002
Everything can be so temporary. Charlie Beavers' legacy inspired filmmaker and friend, Alison Watson, to capture a little of his spirit on and off the water. This trailer looks at the American Dream and what it can mean to you. Charlie lived a different kind of dream and because of it; saw the world, formed friendships and changed people’s lives along the way. Did this 21 year old live more of his dream than most 90 year olds?

Wynne Family Memories
Video Compilation
- 2004
Bob Wynne had all this great 16mm footage of his family and friends. He contacted Magnetic Media, and, after transfering the footage to digital, we created a memorable DVD and VHS Video for his family to view as a Christmas present. Bob himself came to ProComm to do the voiceover, and his wife, Maggie, helped write the script.

Death of the Pine Beetle - 2001
This documentary was shot by Sarah Harnden on Canon's XL-1 camcorder. It doucuments the fire that spread through Hot Springs, North Carolina in the fall of 2001. The job was to take the eight hours of footage that she captured, and edit it down to a 20 minute kind-of-quirky short film. The object of the editing was not only to highlight the events of the fire, but to also capture the lives of the small mountain town people and the Puerto Rican Hot Shots, firemen imported from Central America to stop this disaster.

The Rebelles - Asheville Burlesque Troupe
Promo Video
- 2003
"Sex not only sells, it sells out!" That's what newscaster, John Le, says about The Rebelle's live strip-tease performance in this promotional video. We have been working with The Rebelles since their first performance, Through Sick and Sin, and continue to follow them around with the camera, documenting their history as they blossom into the biggest thing since the Blue Man Group! Edited together with the photography of Meg Reilley, live footage, and News 13's story, this promotional video lives on their website, therebelles.com, and helps them get gigs all over the US. Oh yeah, there might be a tad bit of nudity in this clip...
